If our distinguished legislators in Denver really want to show true patriotism and concern for military people, they wouldn’t waste valuable time declaring Bruce a traitor and spoiler over an empty resolution. Instead, they should actively fight for the rightfully earned benefits of veterans and military retires in Colorado.

Rep. May, the General Assembly isn`t your high school student council. It`s not a popularity contest, in which the self-styled cool kids conquer the nerds. It`s government, where politicians get to oppose symbolic fashion statements.
